History began with the idea to make high quality universal steering wheel cover from genuine leather at a price acceptable to the average driver. The principle of this unique product was registered as a utility model “Genuine leather universal cover for various types of steering wheels” at the Industrial Property Office in the year 2003.
First business was opened in 2002 by Mária Slobodníková – MÁRIA CAVALLO.
Brand Maria Cavallo® was created in 2005 (also by official registration at the Office of Industrial Property).
MÁRIA CAVALLO s.r.o. was founded in 2007 with headquarters in Banská Bystrica.
The customer interest and appreciation of the quality of our universal steering wheel cover led to the expansion of our services to include various types of upholstery and interior repair of cars, boats, planes, motorcycles, but also chairs couches and more.
